Proposal Writing Workshop

This is a two day workshop targeted at people who are currently or are interested making applications for funding research projects. It has been designed to provide you with the knowledge to develop your proposals to a standard to compete for tenders.

Ngā Whainga/ Learning objectives:

By the end of this workshop people will develop a good understanding of the process for writing funding proposals for research projects. Participants will be provided with exercises to do in preparation to attending the workshop. Dr Leonie Pihama and a guest speaker will facilitate the workshop. Dr Leonie Pihama is the Research Director for Māori and Indigenous Analysis Ltd. She has been involved in Māori research development for 15 years. Both facilitators have extensive knowledge and experience with making successful funding applications.

Introduction to Kaupapa Māori Theory and Analysis

This workshop is a two day workshop targeted at people who are interested in Kaupapa Māori Theory and Analysis. The workshop will include an overview of Kaupapa Māori and its application as a theoretical framework. It has been designed to provide you with the knowledge to develop analysis relevant to your context.

Ngā Whainga/ Learning objectives:

By the end of this workshop people will: -have a good understanding of Kaupapa Māori Theory -have a sound practical understanding and knowledge of how to apply them in practice -be able to apply the theory of Kaupapa Māori processes in your own mahi. Dr Leonie Pihama and a guest speaker will facilitate the workshop. Both are experienced practitioners, with detailed knowledge of Kaupapa Māori Theory and Analysis.
